Chris Blanton (chrisblanton22@hotmail.com) uses his classical training to communicate on a contemporary musical plane, combining an experienced baritone voice with a complimentary guitar. His songs are sometimes sad, sometimes silly, but always honest to life experience and imagination.
After 10 years in Rome, GA, he and his wife have settled in Athens, GA. They offer private music lessons in piano, voice, guitar, bass, and other instruments.

You just gotta do what you're made to do, no matter what obstacles are in your way. Somebody somewhere needs you to believe in your dreams, and just go for it.
So, I'm believing in my dreams to write, perform, and record songs that affect people to move beyond themselves. Beyond narcissism... Yes, loving oneself is important and necessary to cope with life, but we can?t let our self-love become self-ish. We gotta spread that love around. Not keep it in. It doesn?t belong to just us. We gotta invest that compassion. Take risks. Go out on some limbs. Sure some will break, but that?s when we step back, forgive, and learn how to do it better next time.
