Hey Perry, Thanks for your review. Your comments were right on the money! It was an fun little intro to the real track we cut a few years back, thought it might make an interesting instrumental. In your bio it says you were doing sound design on Simpsons, King of the Hill, etc. That was at Sony right? Do you remember James and/or Wade?
I sure do, I still talk with crazy Joel Burns! He has done a lot of work for me over the years! Great gtr player with the best ideas by far, a real natural. How's Wade doing? I think he turned out the best from that gig. Where do you fit in? Did you work at Sony?
No didn't work at Sony, I am good friends with James and have been working with him on a few things for a while. Yeah, Wade has really been doing some cool work.
Perry: Thanks for the kind words about "Let You Go"...yeah, it is very likely that it sounds mono in the mix. I had a total studio meltdown with my computer, and had bizarre stereo issues...the result, an album that's cool but a bit on the mono side. Anyhow, thanks much!
Dear Perry, Many thanks for the review of our song. Just to put things in order the album form which it is taken was recorded in the Welsh Mountain Studio in 1978 so if the sound is not altogether that of modern studios you'll understand why. As to the band...it folded in the same year so I suppose that one could say that it's a first and a restrospective album all in one. HI Rich, no worries. It was just a short piece we wrote for a source music cue, they only needed a minute of music. I just enjoy it for what it is, short & sweet. Maybe someone will think the same and use it in a Film or TV show! - All the best -Perry
