I LOVE your voice and whole vibe....Would you consider singing one of my songs... It's Funky, but I want it to be Country Funky..Let Me know Marvin. SKY HIGH MUSIC LABS
Glad you like what you heard Marvin. You've got some very nice tracks and you have a wide range of sounds down! I'm thinking the voice you might want is on Stand Up and Dance, and that's not me. I don't think I have anything in the country funky category other than that one. I have a few Lyle Lovett tunes that were kinda sassy, but that's it. Let me know. Hattie
It's unusual for sure and if not your cup o tea, I understand. I can send the Song bed, Scratch vocal and lyrics, then you can say yay or nay, no harm no foul...My email is "skyhighmusiclabs@gmail.com" with your email, I can send to you Thanks Marvin...
The key thing is I want it to be sung country... hope it works...
Hattie I really like your work a lot.... It's so nice to hear someone actually writing music instead of rehashing cover tunes. Your stuff has real quality and a great feel overall. VERY REFRESHING
Thanks Randy. Just finished listening to your entire list, so we're mutually refreshed!
Thanks, Hattie, for your review of "It Was a Pretty Good Night" I give it a 10! Greg

Very nice track Steve. Good luck with it.
Thanks Hattie for reaching out and giving stars for some of my music. I appreciate you taking time to listen. I took the opportunity to check out your music and really love what you are doing. By the way I have multiple Lyle Lovett albums.
Thanks, Kevin. Lyle Lovett is probably my biggest inspiration, neck and neck with Etta James.

HI HATTIE! AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR REVIEW ON "THAT'S WHAT A REDNECK IS" ! WHAT A GREAT COMPLIMENT !!!...HAYWARD !
Hayward, your song was authentic, full of truth, and not the typical kickin'-up-dust, beer-drinkin', rifle-toting, truck-driving thing we've all heard a number of times. Not that I wouldn't enjoy another version--because they can be lyrically brilliant--it was a nice change to hear another side, the less rowdy-glamorous side, and you captured it. All best, Hattie
My music video for Deep Down, directed by Dominic Bekaert and Jules Jarossay, was a finalist with honorable mention in 2018 International Songwriting Competition.
Congrats!
Thanks, Peter.
Hey Hattie, I wanted to thank you for the 5 Star rating for "Turn That Juke box On". Very kind of you! And all the best with your music as well! Cheers TK
Enjoyed that, not upset to have you selected above me.
Hi Patrick. I'm glad you're not upset, but don't know what song/selection you are referring to.
I can't recall either, I had thought the song they chose of yours was good and well produced, congratulations. Are you still in NC?
It was a folk listing which chose your song two days ago. I had submitted three songs to the same. I liked your submission, you have real skills.
Okay. I know the one, and I'm glad you liked what you heard. No longer living in NC.
Hello there, Hattie, thanks for the review of my live recording Bifocal Blues. I appreciate your comments! I'll be in New Milford, CT, on my national tour. First time ever singing in your state. Your friend in FL, Mrs Kate
Hi Kate--When listening to Bifocal Blues, I did think you would make a great writer of childrens songs and then I read your bio and you are! I am a big fan of Peter, Paul and Mary, too. I'm not too close to New Milford and I work odd hours..graveyard shift now, switching to swing shift in next month or so. Enjoy your tour. All best, Hattie
Oh that's okay, just wanted to letcha know I'll be in your state. Mrs. Kate
Hattie, Thanks so much for the review of "Born With A Broken Heart". Your comments were spot on. ( I blame ear fatigue). I made a few adjustments. Give another listen if you have the time. http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=35533 1 Hank
Lots of talent Hattie, I would change the vocals a bit to sync with the instruments.
Thanks for listening and taking time to comment. I will review vocal tracks you refer to if you let me know track titles. All best, Hattie
Well done, Hattie... always nice to see what you're up to...
Hello Hattie! Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and rate my new song! I really appreciate your support. All the best!

Hattie, I very much appreciate the 5 star rating on Pills. It's great coming from someone as accomplished as you are. Thanks again, Tim
once upon a time, I mistakenly construed your were considering moving the NC - my bad if out of context. meantime, must recognize how you have mastered the piano and musical arrangement. kudos - your Spirit and Talent match one and the other. TRUTH!
Hi Peter. You didn't construe because I mentioned that I might. Again, I return to looking at real estate in western NC (Burnsville and Bakersville) for retirement because I am interested in Penland. Funny you should mention it. The piano and strings arrangements are not mine, but the string player's, Christopher Marion. What a dream it would be if they were. Good luck in the 6-pack.
my apologies for all the spell-check errors. arrangement aside, kudos still expressed for such wonderful music. and, good luck to you in this year's 6-pack!
