When Night Turns Blue... my Sister Sharon Kalvoda... SuzyQ wrote this a few years ago. We're friends of Herbie Hancock and had always wanted to record something with him. Last December we recorded this with him on Piano. Our Mother was present at the session. She passed away on November 17th and we played this at her Services on December 7th as a tribute. Thanks, Herbie.

Loved the "Down by the river demo" with the older, warm, but not as cleanly recorded vocals as well. Both are very special.

I've in many ways used the 6Pack to better gauge the commercial viability of any given production. I think the tracks we love more personally are more personal to "us" and not always commercial for it.

I've been thrown some pieces in there over the years that have done original, never heard it before, kind of stuff. Good stuff. Stuff I personally thought was imaginative and inspiring.

Not commercial. Lol

For years I've tested the pulse of this communitybywatchingthe votes and how they'd behave.

It's been very helpful in refining my approach once I can get past my own ego:)
