Award-winning Irish-American singer/songwriter Alison Lorraine (www.alisonlorraine.com) is an eclectic recording artist whose singular voice combined with strong songwriting skills are her calling cards. Lorraine's distinctive sound places her among the Natalie Merchants and Sarah McLachlans of the music world--her unusual voice, with its sultry low end and high, round tones--is instantly recognizable. She writes in the pop, alt-rock and dance/electronic genres and composes accessible and memorable songs both on her own and with others. Lorraine's self-penned "Something About You" has recently won Song of the Year in the Electronic/Dance category and Lorraine has signed recording and licensing deals in both the US and in Europe. Lorraine is a featured vocalist for Universal's C&M Productions and also appears on several dance collaborations. She is now involved in mixing her forthcoming full-length CD, which will be made available on www.alisonlorraine.com in early 2005.
