Section 8 was formed as a three peice band in Methuen, Ma., in 1999. Base player Mike Spinale, is a guitar player, who was a friend of my wife's and knew I was looking for a base guitarist. He then became not only my base player, but also one of my best friends. Drummer Bob McCarthy, was my long time school chum, since grammer school. As for myself, (Tommy V), I have been playing guitar since I was six years old. I am the lead singer, rhythem guitarist and lead guitarist.
