SweatBox Productions LLC is a 3 member team, from varied backgrounds & musical paths, assembled by chance to create a new sound in Urban music. Dia "Kuzi" Hodari, from Lansing, MI was inspired by an eclectic mix of musical genres that range from hiphop to Fusion to Latin grooves. Ricardo Spicer from Shaker Hts, OH was born with music on the brain & fell in love with hip hop at an early age. Kuzi and Ricardo cultivated a bond at the Univ. Of Michigan where they performed as a hiphop group in the Detroit underground scene. Calvin had been in ATL for years crafting R&B records and placing songs for media outlets. Ricardo graduated & moved to Atlanta to work for Universal Music Group Distribution where he met Calvin The 3rd. Calvin brings the polished R&B feel that balances the edgy hiphop combination of Kuzi & Ricardo. Ricardo,Calvin, & Kuzi joined forces in 2005 to take their talents to the next level & share it with the world.
