How Come You Ain't Dead?

Story Behind The Song

Someone said to me, if someone couldn't live without them the person should drop dead. I called RJ up and said, we've got to write this song! It should be fun and silly.

Song Description

This is a song about the girl catching the guy with another girl at a bar. It's a bit tongue in cheek and meant to be fast and funny. The video would be hilarious if it was done right. Would have to be over the top.

Lyrics

Me and the girls on a Saturday night
Kickin? up our heels and feelin? all right
When who walks in with Little Miss Thang

She?s hangin? on you, holdin? on tight
Tell me who could walk in heels that high?
And by the way does she know I wear your diamond ring?

Oh, you said how much you love me
The only one, that?s what you said
Said you can?t live without me
But if you can?t live without me
Then how come you ain?t dead?

You slither to the bar just ten feet away
Flashin? that cash like you got it made, boy
You?re gonna get a big surprise

One more drink, I?m keepin? my cool
I wasn?t raised to be nobody?s fool
Now I?m looking right into your lyin? eyes

Oh, you said how much you love me
The only one, that?s what you said
Said you can?t live without me
But if you can?t live without me
Then how come you ain?t dead?

You?re a two-timing, two-steppin?, bonafide swine
Two-faced liar but that?s just fine
I?ve had it up to here and I?m headin? for the door
Don?t wanna hear your sorry-assed sorrys anymore

Oh, you said how much you love me
The only one, that?s what you said
Said you can?t live without me
But if you can?t live without me
Then how come you ain?t dead?

Can?t live without me, huh? I?ll kill you myself!
