Story Behind The Song
This song was written after a very long and sad night. I had been watching the news, and on came a story about a little 7 year old boy who was shot and killed in a random shooting in a Burger King. The killer just walked in, shot the boy and one other person and then shot himself. The killer didn't know him, no connection, just wrong place at wrong time. The senslesness of this still hurts me. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't stop crying, I couldn't stop going into my kids rooms and hugging them evey hour. Finally I sat down at the piano, and it all came out.
