Tilly Feaver Blinds the Sun

Story Behind The Song

The drums and rhythm guitar were first recorded on a monaural tape recorder and then one lead guitar was overdubbed, all in mono. Then this single track was placed in a digital recorder and vocals and an additional lead guitar were added. The combination of analog and digital recording methods give this song an unusual depth.

Song Description

This is a story about a little girl named Tilly who thought the whole world was going to end, until she stood on her head and so then everything appeared differently.

Lyrics

Pretty little girl
Look through her eyes
See all her pictures
Everyone dies
Stand on your head
Who do you see?
Little girl, do you see me?
