Lyrics

Your Answer Shows On You

Do you remember when we said I do?
Told me that you needed me, more than I did you.
Swore you'd never leave me, alone and cold and blue.
Why try to hide it, you know that it is true.
Don't try to deny it, your answer shows on you.
Your answer shows on you.

Somehow I lost you
tell me what went wrong.
Our feelings were very deep,
but our love it wasn't strong.
I should have known right from the start
that it wouldn't last too long.
Why try to hide it, you know that it is true.
Don't try to deny it, your answer shows on you.
Your answer shows on you.

I know now it's over,
my love for you is gone.
You tore apart my heart too much
you treated me so wrong.
No matter what we said or did
we just couldn't get along.
Why try to hide it, you know that it is true.
Don't try to deny it, your answer shows on you.

Your answer shows on you.
Your answer shows on you.
Your answer shows on you.

Liked your guitar in this song and your story line.

Nice catchy tune. I like it. Nice changes

very nice message.

Raw and real in a good way. nice guitar licks throughout.

liked the groove but the recording lacks.
couldn't really lock into the vocals-got lost in the mix.
very cool though!
you may want to add a bridge or break.
unfortunately, now a days the recording needs to be as close to radio ready to even be listened to for 30 seconds!
sucks that that's the way it is--good song though!!!

Would be a good song with more variation in the melody and chords.

I enjoy the raw rock 'n' roll energy of this song.

sounds like the 1960's! Yeah Baby! Live Drums? Nice song, good period piece. no modern tricks there just straight in all at once right? ock on

I really dig rough recording. It kind of reminded me of a Beach Boys groove. cool tom rolls
