Story Behind The Song
This song is about going out to clubs and not getting into them because of what you look like; or having a person break up a couple before they even get into the door of the limelight because one person's hip and the other isn't. And how the girl doesn't come back, because she'd rather go to the nightclub than stay on the date.
Song Description
This song depicts two people who knew each other in elementary school in Great Neck, Long Island and then meet again in London. He thinks he has a chance with her now that he's older, but she gets into a swank club and he doesn't, because he's not dressed right. Not much has changed.

Lyrics
Sheila
Wondering why you have let me down
Looking for you your not around
Playing the game they call
Here come the clowns
Wearing the clothes we thought would fit
You were the
first one on their list
I was the last one you would ever miss
Sheila on the outside
Looking for a fast ride
You gave the man a big smile
He stopped me at the turnstile
Waving to your love
ONe of the things I thought I'd say
Met you before in second grade
Never had time to walk down memory lane
You were a small girl then that's true
I was a boy without a clue
Not much has changed for me,
How about you?
Sheila on the outside
Looking for a fast ride
You gave the man a big smile
He stopped me at the turnstile
Waving to your love
