Miracle
Some kind of miracle it was,
It was the miracle of all.
Some kind of hero just because
He was noone at all.
Are we any better than before?
Are we just older than we were?
Older than we were...
Now he's our hero of the day,
He was an ordinary man.
Some kind of hero anyway -
He does the best he can.
Everybody better than before,
We?re still ordinary men.
Ordinary men...
Get ready for my life.
Some kind of miracle I survived.
Now I see where I went wrong,
I should have seen it long ago.
For all you heroes everywhere,
You are the ordinary man.
Some kind of heroes anyway,
You do the best you can.
Everybody better than before -
We're still ordinary men.
Ordinary men...
Get ready for my life.
Some kind of miracle I survived.
Now I see where I went wrong,
I should have seen it long ago.
And something keeps me holding on,
I should have learned to let it go.
Some kind of miracle it was.
Some kind of hero just because.
We are only what we treasure, what we've lost.
I am holding on and counting out the cost.
