Broadjam Member Reviews

Nice dark opening, great build into the song. Singer has a powerful voice and presence. I like this song really digging the guitar solo and overall sound of the piece. Great melody and over all feel and vibe. Very well done and quite impressive.

    - Ravensong

Power and more power in this power ballad of loss! Terrific lovely vocal with grit to deliver the angst. The melody is well written and would work very well as a popular album cut. I like the fuzz guitar and the solemn quiet interlude that begins at about 2:20 to give a rest and interest.

    - John Walradt
Lyrics

Two hearts beating out of sync
hate to say it but I think
that it's really over now

hurt flows over me like rain
I will never be the same
since you walked through my life my love

love overwhelms me
never ceases to confound me
like a floating butterfly
I'm in awe & then it's gone leaving me alone

I can't say I'll never love again
even though it's wrought with pain
I can't believe it had to end this way this way

love overwhelms me
never ceases to confound me
like a floating butterfly
I'm in awe & then it's gone leaving me alone

Why'd it have to end this way
