Lyrics
Dont Ask God how to find that woman
He ain't the one that knows the way
Her Devil eyes saw me coming
I didn't know the games she plays
The River bed is 5 feet deeper than my head
And the muddy water covers Jimmy's eyes
He tried to run but I knew it should be done
Unless that woman's just been telling lies.
Good God above I've got to find that woman
I know she wouldn't walk away
What I did for her committed me to something
Sealed the bond that we made
Did she know which way the wind would blow
When Jimmy's friends wake up to find him gone?
They'll call the law but I know nobody saw
so I don't know why that woman isn't home
I tried to live a life that's right
How'd I end up running through the night?
Oh where, where did I go wrong?
Now I know I can never go back home
Don't Ask God how to find that woman
He ain't the one that knows the way
Turn around when see her coming
Never mind the games she plays
