This is a poem set to music. The poetry is creative and unique. A very complex piano arrangement and the vocals are operatic. The vocalist is energetic and did the best she could with the way the piece was written. Her meow and sneeze were cute...actually my favorite part of the performance.

(text by Birthe Noer Myers)

Cats know they're adorable,
Even when deplorable,
Come and go at their own pleasure,
Never bored with too much leisure.
Languid and devoid of cares,
Slide like liquid down the stairs,
Drape themselves with graceful ease
Over chairs and people's knees.
Dole out love with reservation,
Never heard of obligation,
Take for granted independence
But expect your full attendance.
Feel no need to curry favor,
Or to thank you for your labor.
Elegant and self-involved
Know full well how much they're loved.
