Great honky tonk tune! Joyful lyrics, let's party! I like the dynamic vocal with the highs and lows. Like the spoken part and the scatting during the solo. Nice bass line. Good length. Boy this song really grows on me - I'm listening again..
Love to hear this one "live" in a seedy bar somewhere on Route 66....Pretty traditional stuff with no real surprises, but such strong lyrics you can't help have fun with it. Love the background vocals..."Rock Rock"...almost has a 30's feel to it...maybe it's the singer...he could do this with a use and call it a day...good work.
