One of Nothing (the p.e.e. Project) is composed of one person, Paul Etchison. The style of music branches off of singer/songwriter genres all the way to heavier rock.

With the breakup of his first band, UIC senior Paul Etchison looked to himself to play and record all the songs on One Of Nothing (The p.e.e. Project) while deciding whether or not to commit to dental school. Masking the endemic metronomic drums far better than most DIY one-man bands, Etchison really hits his stride midway through the CD as he works at building a convincing prog/metal/goth-ish wall o'sound. And while the non-acoustic version of "Whiskey Dick" is cheekily sophomoric, his acoustic ballad, "Tiresome," could be a killer emo/boy band song. Etchison clearly knows how to play guitar and his lyrics and music reveal an intensely driven personality that marks him for success in whatever path he chooses.
