Songwriter and playwright, Karen Sokolof Javitch has written 5 musicals. Love! At the Cafe, Princess Diana the Musical and Rachel and Ruthie.
Karen always admired Princess Diana and when the Princess died, wrote many songs which she then made into a musical. Princess Diana has played three times in Omaha and once in Lincoln. "I am thrilled each time with the positive response of the audiences and the cast." There are more than 30 songs featured on the Princess Diana CD.
Karen has written and produced 10 CD's of her music - the 4 musicals plus 6 other CDs. Her latest CD - Star Tracks - The Tribute Album pays tribute to 23 celebrities in memory of Patrick Swayze. Funds from the CD go to Pancreatic Cancer Research in his honor.

Her music is arranged by Chuck Penington, musical conductor of the Grammy-winning group, Mannheim Steamroller.
