Bio

John Centrone began playing the piano at age seven and wrote his first composition at age nine. John's love of music and composition followed him throughout his adolescence and college where he received degrees in music, majoring in clarinet and minoring in piano and classical guitar, and electronics. After spending his 20's as an integral part of band The Romeos, John decided to get a job and pursued a career and degree in marketing. His love of music and composition, however, could not be dissuaded. He continued to write musical themes, and in 2005, he shed his conventional employment to open Bethany Ridge Recording Studios in Western New York. John now spends his days recording and perfecting his own compositions and local musicians. John's dream is to compose movies scores in the mode of John Williams, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman and the like.
