Jamsmack is focused on writing and producing original songs for the recording, film and TV industries. Jamsmack features an ever-growing catalogue of radio/TV/movie-friendly songs with strong melodic and lyrical qualities, as well as great "mood painting."
The songs flow from the strong pop sensibilities of the company's principal songwriters, whose musical resumes have put them onstage with the likes of Hootie and the Blowfish, Vertical Horizon, Edwin McCain, Kansas and Stone Temple Pilots' Scott Weiland.

Steve Kann
Steve has spent most of the last 20 years in the investment business, serving most recently as Managing Director of Investment Banking for US EURO Securities, Inc., a position he still holds.
He has participated in over $200 million in capital-raising and mergers/acquisition transactions in his career, and has been an investment newsletter founder and editor.
Since 1995, he has developed business models that leverage the Internet and has provided online marketing advice and programs to such companies as Ralph Edwards Productions (This Is Your Life, The People's Court, Truth or Consequences) through two online marketing firms he co-founded, one of which, Monument Communications, in 1998 launched a marketing partnership with America Online called AOL Select, which developed an alternative marketing channel for the AOL Internet service and other e-commerce partners such as DirecTV, IBM and Metrocall Wireless e-mail.
In 1995, he served as Executive Producer on the feature film, "Moving Target," which gained international distribution and has been shown on the Encore and USA cable networks. He continues from time to time to contribute to entertainment projects, including having served as an advisor on the recently produced feature film, "Checkout."
His first love has always been music, and he's been writing songs and performing in bands since the age of 16. Jamsmack represents his opportunity to join his business experience and his musical talents to work with collaborator and Jamsmack co-founder, Justin Sheehy, to write and produce great songs and spread them to all corners of the entertainment industry.
Steve holds a Bachelors Degree from Virginia's George Mason University.
Justin Sheehy
Justin Sheehy currently lives in Hollywood, California and pursues his music career full-time. He spent 15 years on the east coast, developing his songwriting and performing talents. His most notable project was JONASAY, a four-member pop/rock band that featured Justin's songwriting, rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Jonasay secured a management deal and toured with many popular bands, including Hootie and the Blowfish, Vertical Horizon, Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain, and many more. After the 2003 break-up of Jonasay, Justin continued writing, recording and performing his songs in the Washington, DC area until deciding to relocate to LA in 2005.
While playing a gig in Washington, DC in late 2005, Justin met Jamsmack co-founder, Steve Kann, a former investment banker and fellow musician/songwriter. The two began writing and producing songs together shortly thereafter.
Justin is moving steadily toward his first full-length solo release. The record is due in Spring 2007 and will feature Justin's smooth pop vocal on smart, catchy songs.
