Founder of “Afonsinhos do Condado”, a pretty famous “fresh” group in the late 80’s, later joined the incredible “Irmãos Catita” and other “crazy music” combos.
Released two solo albums, “Funky Punky Trunky” (Universal, 1997) and “Pornogal” (Zim Records, 2002).
Currently working in radio, TV, drama, and cinema stuff, Gimba is a resistent warrior fighting in the backyard of muddy portuguese music!
After eye and ear surgery (finally he sees and hears!) Gimba is back and booming!
