Hello,
My name is Gary Don Smith. I am a BMI songwriter/publisher out of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. I mostly write traditional country, and country/rock music. I have written some traditional blues and love doing so. I have been writing for over twenty year's as a wonderful hobby but now am retired and I'm writing everyday along with recording and pitching my own songs to Labels and Publishers. I have a song on the album of "Candice & Nadinne" from Australia called "Breaking it Down".. I have a song called "Hey Bartender" placed with "Crucial Music" out of LA and three songs place with a New York Publisher called "AudioBrain".

I am working locally with several local young artists and writing songs for their upcoming CD's. I am a member of BroadJam, SongU.com, National Writer's Association and Sharp Object's writing team out of Nashville.
