Emily was born in Las vegas, into the world of jazz, bright lights and late nights. Her mother a singer and father a drummer infused a love of music from the beginning. A desire to sing and write music began early on after migrating to Australia and Emily was singing in clubs by her teens. Her style swayed toward soul, r and b, with a touch of folk. but she always had her roots in jazz. By 22 she had a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music and a song recorded by australian pop artist Marie Wilson. Concertrating primarily on performing jazz over the last several years, she is currently writing for her first solo album.
