Bio

Andrew Arthur Davidsen born August 11, 1970 ; son of Astrophycisist and guitar player Arthur Falness Davidsen. From an early age Andrew had his eyes and ears fixed on the stars only these stars were not in the sky, they were on a stage. From then on the Davidsen house would be Jam Session Station. Andrews father also played drums and piano. This promted experimentation of all kinds wich would lead to Andrew's first real musical experience, "THE CELLO".

After a few years and a few more wiskers on his chin the cello got replaced by a sleak electric guitar. Andrew would often spin albums that included groups like CCR, The Beatles, and the Beach Boys. Andrews Dad was also a big fan of jazz atrists like Herb Elis and Joe Pass. This would later shape Andrews love for jazz guitar.

In high school Andrew had the job of platying bass in the power pop trio, "The Quadrophone". After high school Andrew served 3 years in the US NAVY on a destroyer. This is where he found a new sence of pupose and a new reason to play. After a plunge into the Jorden River practice sessions on guitar were with out stopping. Some days he would go for 8 hours with out a break. No sleep! Lots of guitar!

Now Drew can be seen and heard with the, "Richard Walton Group" Playing his own brand of jazz funk rock. Drew also has a new solo pop disk out, "Whats in the Bag?" On the horizon is Drew's much anticipated Smooth Jazz Guitar disc, "Beak-Out" The guitar work on this is amazing.
