Thanks for the song links -- enjoying them very much. Is there a name of this band?
Yea, Mitch Weiss lol

Hey Mitch, would you be interested in giving some skype lessons? I am an accomplished blues player on harp with a background in jazz and would like to start playing jazz on the harp and would love it you would teach me. Please email at email@example.com if so. Thank you
Sure, I can give you some pointers....
I don't see any music on your profile. Do you have anything I can listen to?
No don't have much online, I'm the harp player for Big Al & The Heavyweights, www.bigal.net, I have a few old clips on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv
Hmm.. Big Al sounds familiar ok will check it out now
listening to "take me back to N.O." great groove - of course what would I expect from New Orleans dudes! Nice solo! Heard some overblow action in there :-)
OOPs... no overblows :-)
I believe that was a different harp player on that record, Al has had a ton of great harp players over the years, including Jason Ricci, Jason actually got me the gig with Al. I do overblow quite a bit on the 4 5 and 6, still learning the 7 overdraw. Anyways, how much for some lessons? and when are you usually available. later at night the better for me.
LOL! Sorry for complimenting someone else! that YouTube link came up as channel no longer available. Anything else that's really you? Do you have an I PHONE to do Face time? No charge to start...
Yea I can do facetime, try this link https://www.youtube.com/user/ONSETO
If that don't work just youtube search HarpHeavyWeight
Hey, checked out your videos.. liked what I heard, you have an "intelligent" musical approach. Are you playing on Cajun roux @ Lizzie Rose concert hall?
Which guy is Big Al? Oh and who's playing with him on this vid: Big Al and The Heavyweights - Cajun Roux? My phone nbr is 516 672 4414 what's a good time to chat? Oh, how did you hear about me?
That's an old great harmonica player by the name of harmonic red, Big Al is the drummer. I seen your videos on the twin mini chromatic. I want to learn to play jazz on a modified diatonic, either the slip slider, (which I just ordered) or the mini twin. Are you available to chat anytime from 2-4pm today or after 8:30pm?
call at 8:30.... "everyone is playing the drums" - James Brown :-)
Mitch! Hope everything is going well! I know you told me what mic you were using---but alas! memory gone! Is it the Audix "Fireball'? Thanks! Pat
Hey Pat, I just noticed I never saw this message from you... well it's an AKAI dm-13 dynamic mic. I don't want to disappoint you but "my sound" has little to do with this mic. I like it because it is small and doesn't tire out my hands...it does sound nice though!
MITCH: YOU CAN REAL BLOW THAT HARP...
Awesome Harp! catnip pat have to talk!
Would love to feature you on my 8th CD!
Thanks Pat.... just let me know what you have in mind.
I thought I was a good harp player but after I hear you, just want to throw them in the Bay! Will get back to you this spring when I get close. Thanks So Much Mitch!
LOL Ok Pat
Alright Ill Meet you and Cindy Anytime that music was so cool! Bless that sound! catnip
Great stuff Mitch! I'm from Downstate Illinois.. and love that Chicago Blues vibe... Well done!
Hey, loved the Bumble Bee... Russian gypsy rock jazz blues - GREAT mix!!!
HA!! I've done similar stuff with my tune "Pork Butts". How did you get it to sound like a large audience live performance may I ask?
Willie's Fingers.... cool! Was that crowd singing along real? Sounded like a lot of people ...
Thanks Mitch! Yes it was real. It was actually my family (wife and 3 kids) in a recording room all trying to sound drunk!
Great singing! Mix your voice higher LOL!
Thanks for adding me to your playlist Bruce!!
My pleasure Mitch!
Nice stuff Dave!! Was diggin' Bye Bye Baby.... cool arrangement, very smooth and tight, vocals are rockin'!!
Mitch, on your tune, "Only Fools" a little Carlos Santana vibe....NICE!! Good job Ma-man!!! Like your vocals.......very cool!!
M & A Corey 5 Stars

Just pretend you never did anything until miles away, then, put the rest of your energy in promoting this song. This song is all you need
Thanks so much Patrick!
this performance haunts me. its the best!
Great stuff, Mitch! Love every track so far!
Nice tune man! wondering what kind of mike you are using, dont think its the green bullet, but Great sound, impressive list of legends!!
Thanks Patrick! Which of your tunes got "honorable mention" in the ISSC Songwriting Contest? That's quite an accomplishment! Mic I use is the one in my profile pic - an old Japanese make that I bought off the NET. I have lots of bullet type mic's but prefer this hand friendly little guy.
Hi Mitch! A Jap mike, ha,ha. The ISSC song was "Do you Still Love Me?, about 8 years ago. I love playing the harmonica too and have for a long time, but youre really good.
thats the best sounding harp in the world. went back and watched the video at jazzfest in ny. coooolllll the harp, it looks like youre playing your wallet and a chocolate bar!
Nice! Congrats on the placement.
Thanks Mitch, but I don't know that I have anything actually placed, but a lot of tunes "under consideration" and some publishing contracts.
Unless I missed something.
Damn, you're right of course - just considered. I hate those - so close! LOL
