Roy- got emails about "provider updates" listing artists "under consideration" and then "your submissions": this means "not me?" if'm not under the "considered" catagory? Ifso, not sure how these updates are useful to me, and seems like an email blast that suggests something is happening with my submission is a bit misleading. Thanks

Hi Michael, As you know, we did respond to your email about this but we wanted to answer it here as well to explain to others why we are doing this, because it is a very good question. The goal of this is to simply show you what goes on behind the scenes, because in almost every project they will find a few songs that they like and will narrow it down until they finally pick one. The overwhelming feedback we received from members early on is that they wanted to hear the songs that were being selected even if it wasn't their song that was picked so that they could listen and learn. We thought it would be helpful for everyone to hear the ones that were selected along with the ones that were in the final running. We certainly invite your (or anyone else's) input if you have ideas on how we can improve the system to make it more useful for you. Thanks again for your inquiry, Michael. Great question.
I undeerstand- I guess the only suggestion I'd have is somehow wording the email in such a way as to indicate to the member that the submission update pertains to specifically to their submission as opposed to a general change in submission status. Thanks for clarifying.
