Thanks Darren, I'll definitely check that out. And, there's something to be said for well rounded (jazz and Age of Liberty type stuff). I think each makes the other fresher and more powerful. I've heard some of your other Age of Liberty material as well. Excellent work.
Of course I mean this complimentary.......I happen to love Jeff Beck. I get snifflings of that tone from your stuff. Love it!
Somebody said that earlier in the week. I think you've been listening to my song "Hyperlocution." It has some of that semi-electronic feel of JB's "Dirty Mind" and other tunes of that era. Actually the tone on that song is early EVH with phaser in front of hot rodded Marshall - sound, but as I was doing it I did think the phrasing was a little JB, but was also getting some Mick Ronson squash in there as well. Hey Darren, checked your video. Great stuff. What an amazing voice; especially impressive in the beginning where the backing is sparse. So dead-on pitch with impressive control once the song gets moving. Like that with the violin, by the way.
