We need you in our next music video! Please submit a high quality short video clip or photo of you for our next music video! Read the blog to find out exactly what this is all about and what we need @ http://mourningstone.com/blog/blog/want-to-be-in-our-next-music-video 1
To kick off our new presence on Patreon.com and in support of our new single due out sometime next month we are inviting ALL FANS AND SUPPORTERS to participate in our new music video for our song "Damned and Broken".
This is a really cool song with such a really positive message. It's heavy, but has a great vibe and is very uplifting.
Especially to those survivors we have out there...
Do you suffer from and are fighting mental health issues?
Are you fighting or living with a physical / mental illness?
Did you overcome or are you forced to live with a physical / mental disability or injury?
Do you know someone who is going through any of these things?
Are there challenges that you've had to face and overcome in your life?
How you are surviving, living, what makes you happy through the hardships?
What makes you say, "forget this, I'm going to live my life to its fullest and not let this hold me down!"
Send us a high quality 5 to 10 second video clip or a photo of you, holding up a sign with your most positive message, words of wisdom, what you have survived or are recovering from in life written on it.
Feel free to be creative with this:
Some ideas for messages:
"I survived cancer"
"hope (on one hand) love (on the other hand)"
"rise to the challenge"
Some ideas for where/how to write it: write on your hands, your face, your arms, draw the word in the sand with a stick, spray paint it or write it on your shirt, say it with sign language (just let us know what you're saying).
Slow-motion shots are cool too... maybe dance a little bit if you like...
See you in our next music video!
Wes & Adam
So firstly apologies. Wes and I have been so busy of late branding, marketing, writing and recording, filming and setting up a new venture which will, fingers crossed, give us a reliable income stream (more to come on this in due course), that we haven't been here in a while!!
That doesn't mean we have forgotten about any of you, or forgotten the amazing site and community that bought us together, because quite simply, we haven't.
Without the connections made here Mourning Stone wouldn't exist and Wes and I wouldn't have found our respective musical soul mates; and more importantly, without your kind words, encouragement and support we probably wouldn't have continued down this path.
So our thanks and affection are totally heartfelt to one and all.
So, on to new song - Rise Again.
With the Presidential campaign in full swing over with you guys in the US, and the UK referendum on whether we wish to remain a part of the EU going on over here, I came up with this idea for a song. Ably assisted by my awesome buddy, we created Rise Again.
Then came the challenge of a video to support it. Obviously the difficulties of the pond being in the way meant we couldn't film together, but we managed to shoot enough footage that I could make this video ;)
So please go to the link below, click play and enjoy (hopefully)
many thanks and PEACE
Ad and Wes

Sitting in a brief spell of warm spring sunshine here in the UK and was thinking of my friends in the US/Canada with their extended winter - and how I would feel living there.
I so appreciate the five-star rating on I Had A dream. Great to get introduced to your work, too!!! Thank you!
You're most welcome Peter, a pleasure - Cheers Ad
I can't believe I haven't heard your material this whole time I've ben on here on BJ Excellent song ideas! I like your hardcore style of writing, you have this slow burn *ballady* rhythm that I hear so often in the US. That's cool that you are in the UK! I wasn't expecting that. Great stuff, I will have to take your song list at my leisure as you have 80. Liking I Am Me, Enemy...and I'm sure more. You're a great find due to Austin Tyler, Cheers!
Wow, thanks very much Mike, I shall look forward to listening to your work to. Cheers Ad

"History".......really fine rock adventure, once again Adam. Your sense of timing and melodious rock is right on! I believe that we all can relate to your lyrics, at one time in our lives or another! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much Cyndi :)
Grew up with a love for pop songs and heavy metal (gotta love 80's hair metal) and I always write a song from a "pop" structure and then style it accordingly trying to make sure the melody is strong.
