I love "The Story of My Life"! I wrote a song with the same title but entirely different. I wrote a concept album about a woman's life, and that's the penultimate song. I'm slowly having the songs recorded; the first ones are uploaded here.
Droppin' some stars! Man you got some good songs!
I hope you guys like what you hear. I am a songwriting hack. Nothing more. I make no claim to being a professional...just a random dreamer like so many others. My songs, like many many others, will languish in my head and my heart and probably die with me, when my day comes. But I hope one of them brings a little joy, or even a bittersweet pang, to anyone who listens. Who could ask for more?
Hello James, just listened to your song. Like it a lot. Hope it gets cut.. I had 3 songs submitted and still not sure if they will be taken. But I do like the one they are holding. One of the songs is "Sooner Lady" Sent it to dozens of places so far. I like your writing..Sounds like something Randy Travis could use. I lost. my wife 18 months ago and still coping with that.. In case you wanna correspond here is my E-Mail address: frank.zaruba@gmail.com with a Bohemian name of FRANK ZARUBA. Good luck. Frank Z.
Hey, thanks for listening, and the friend request! Its past my bedtime right now...I work nights, but I will try to have a listen tomorrow afternoon if I can...Whats your best song? i will start there!
Hey, James! Thanks a lot for the 5 star rating!
Hey Jason! You're welcome! Sorry it took so long...I tried to reply, but it must have been before you approved the friend request, because it wouldnt send and I finally gave up. Loved the song!
Classic country for sure ! I once had the numbers of Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Eddie Rabbitt, Mickey Gilley, Willie Nelson and more...does that count- :)
I dont have anyones number. Never did. I tried to get my songs to someone who would do something with them but there isnt much demand for my kind of Country these days, so I just stopped trying about 10 years ago. Ive always wanted to get this one to Gary Allen. On a side note...my moms maiden name was Ward. Probably no relation because we are all from Tennessee.
I just added 2 more if you want to have a listen
