If you're a fan of hi-energy guitar instrumentals, you're at the right place. I started as a performance artist in the late 70's, touring with several bands & doing session work. In the mid 80's I was offered a job with a large ad agency as an in-house staff composer for national ad campaigns, winning numerous awards including a Telly. Now, I find myself launching out as a performance artist again, this time a little wiser & more seasoned but musically young at heart. Much of my music is characteristic to my being a studio musician for the last 28 years. You will hear compositions covering multiple genres, including: jazz, blues, r&b, fusion, world, progressive rock, celtic, & many blends thereof.

About Britt

As a session pro, writer, and touring musician since 1979, there's little that guitarist Britt Warren hasn't encountered in the transient world of the professional music scene. Starting his professional music career as a studio musician, working primarily in the southeastern United States, he quickly found himself in situations that demanded he study and master multiple genres and styles. After his family started developing, with the birth of his twin sons, Britt made a decision to temporarily come off the road and accepted a job offer with an advertising agency as an in-house composer for national TV and radio campaigns for such clients as, Whirlpool Appliances, Wrangler Jeans (Telly Award), Bassett Furniture, Lane Action, HGTV, and the list goes on and on. In these campaigns the demand for diversity was tremendous and he rose to the occasion, composing everything from classical based orchestral compositions to hip-hop. This also helped to develop his ability on multiple instruments, resulting in his playing most of the instruments on his recordings. Due to years of composing for visual based media, Britt's compositions, even as a performance artist, especially lend themselves to film and TV scenes. Now, with family grown, and rich musical and life experiences under his belt he has re-emerged as a performance artist and in 2002 released a project entitled "Fearless" consisting of 11 tracks (7 instrumental and 4 vocal oriented tracks). He is currently working on a new project, close to completion.

Greetings to all friends, fans and fellow musicians: I am writing to let you know about a new TV show "SouthEastern Music Showcase". It features performances and interviews with the best indie music artists, from throughout the south eastern US, in a music news-zine type of forum. It is open to every genre.... just gotta' be good. I am the producer of the show and one of the co-hosts. I would love to see some of you on the show! This is a totally sponsored show; meaning there is no fee to submit your music for consideration, no fee to appear on the show, and you cannot buy a performance slot on the show, the only expense to the artist are travel related to get here. The show airs locally in parts of NC and VA (Reidsville, Eden, Madison, Mayodan, Wentworth, Greensboro, Burlington, parts of High-Point and Winston-Salem, as well as Martinsville ,Danville and surrounding areas). The station also streams live on their website so you can let friends and fans that don't live in the viewing area know the viewing schedule and they can watch it online. Right now each episode is airing 10-20 times the first month and an equal number of times the second month. So there are lots of viewing opportunities for your fans. We have contracted with an outside source for syndication and that is actively being pursued with other stations and networks throughout the county with our first focus being on the south east US. This is a good way to grow your fan base. While I am producing the show I am only 1 on a panel of judges making the artist showcase decisions... I am pasting a copy of the rundown of the submission guidelines below. If this is something you are interested in I would encourage you to submit... like I said this is open to good music from any and every genre. Here's a brief run down on the submission requirements: It can be one person or a group/band. SouthEastern Music Showcase is open to all genres of music. If your act is unsigned, is gigging (performing at least occassionally), performs original music (the act/band/artist must own the copyright(s) to the material they are performing / no cover acts are being considered), and you are AWESOME at what you do - then you just might be exactally what we're looking for! You can visit our website http://www.southeasternmusicshowcase.com 1 where you can click on the "Bands and Artist" button and send us a message telling us a little bit about your act. Be sure to include a link or some links to video of you or your band performing. It can be youtube links or video from your website, or facebook. You can also "Like" us on Facebook and send us a message there. Again, be sure to include a performance video link. Please note: we are not conerned with the quality of the video, we are looking and listening to the quality of the performance. Our panel of "judges" are reviewing every submission that comes in.
