Gospel singer / song writer residing in South Africa - a beautiful, sunny country.
Brian is busy on a new album "The Light Brigade".
He confesses that placing songs on the web had never crossed his mind but Broadjam is very persuasive, simple to use and very helpful. He feels that if his music lifts you up then he will know the effort has not been in vain.
Was over in the UK in 2007 and had the opportunity of meeting my dearest friend Mario,we had many good years of singing to gether. We re-recorded "The good fight" together and it came out great, so I've placed it on the web site.
Also my latest "He". Hope you like it.
BRIAN HOLMES hails originally from the UK, Manchester to be exact, but grew up in Zimbabwe. Being convinced that his future would be better served elsewhere he immigrated with his family to South Africa where he still resides. His first Christian group HEMfolk were just taking off when the lead singer Martin Emmerson left to take charge of an orphanage. A noble choice indeed. It was then that he teamed up with another ex-member Mario Mariani who were known as Mario and Tich. Their single "Along the Way" topped the Zimbabwe charts and their follow up single "Highways and Byways" did the same. However opportunies were limited and Brian left for South Africa. Mario and his family left for England. Brian's first 4 albums have been sold privately as he believes in the personnal touch but having been pursuaded that he shouldn't be selfish he has agreed to work through Broadjam. His latest album "The Good Fight" was released in 2007. He is now working on a new album "The Light Brigade" It remains to be seen if his decision to go worldwide is justified. Brian was over in the UK in 2007 and had the opportunity of meeting his friend Mario. They re-recorded "The good fight" together and it came out great, so it's on the web site,so enjoy.
Also his latest "He". Hope you like it.
