Bari is a Baltimore based artist who's talents encompass rapping, guitar playing, and music production. Lyrically his music has elements of social awareness, self discovery, and emotional intelligence with instrumentals that include live guitar and piano playing influenced by Jazz, R&B, and traditional boom bap rap. Influenced by the in depth lyricism of artists such as Jay Z, Eminem, Mos Def, Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, and Outkast, Bari's goals are to push the boundaries of creativity in hip hop and redefine the norms of the genre with his use of live instrumentation and diverse lyrical themes. Bari has played piano and guitar for live performances with several New York City and Baltimore based artists including Reina Williams, Greg Banks, Amorous Ebony, Irescent, Quinton Randall, Karis Lovechild, Poet Deep and Movakween.
