AfterThought was born in Jackson, Michigan on May 15th, 1988. Throughout his young life, his father would often be heard listening to many different types of music nightly. It was here where he began his life in music.

His influences range from almost every type of music, every genre, every artist. Using many different instruments and sounds, he wishes to create layers of melodies all coercing to create a full song. This paired with his voice and the written words of his concerns, hopes, dreams, and etc are what fuels him to create music. Every song is developed from the ground up by himself, from the beat to the lyrics to the vocals to the production and is a total expression of himself through music.
