I love songs about places especially Memphis. It has such a history of music. Blues, Elvis, Sun Records, etc. I love Marc Cohn's walking in Memphis and I just wrote off of that idea.
Song Description
Lonely guy missing his former life in Memphis with a lost love. Really simple song about feeling alone. Concept inspired by "Walking in Memphis" but taken a different way. This person had everything, all the magic that is love and the city of Memphis, but he lost it.
