Lyrics

About You
©2017 Greg Lambert

I heard something about you
I hope it's all true
The way that you do the things you do

They say you can walk in
And light up a room
I get nothing but rave reviews
About you

Chorus

About you
It's all about you
How lovely you are from any point of view

About you
You're beautiful through and through
I want all my dreams to be
About you

I heard something about you
I know it's all true
How you stand out in a crowded room

The way that you touch me
Sends me over the moon
I'm in love with everything
About you

Chorus

Outro

Very nice instrumentation, really suits the theme of the song. Lyrics sit so beautifully on the groove. Solid vocal tone. I think the song would fit on country or rock radio easily. Danceable. Nice subtle harmonica i thought i heard. Love the start and stop, well executed. "i'm in love with everything, about you" perfect.

This is a lively and well-made recording. The instrumentation and vocal presentation is first class. I'm not sure if it's really folk, but it's not quite country either. Wherever it needs to be categorized, it's really good, well-produced, and well played. It has a good range of instrumentation, fitting for this style.

I like everything about this song... progression of voice and instrumentation..I have always found your voice to be pleasing to the ear. well done.

I enjoyed the influences that went into the writing and performance of this recording. It encapsulates the same vibes that made the Traveling Wilbury's and it's members so special. It's hard not to think of Petty, Dylan, Harrison, Orbison and Campbell not getting this same vibe when they got in the studio together. Nice arrangement, great playing and vocal. Overall wonderful production.

Great vocals and harmonies. The instrumentation is very good. the mix is also very good. I like the touch of the harmonica. I like the stop. This has a touch of something John Mellencamp might do. Great song, keep making music!!!

Really good stuff, I'm not a country afficionado but I know good when I hear it. The vocals and instrumentation were very good, nice mix, maybe the drums could have had a little more fills going on to kick it up. Great job

good production and band quality, sounds as good as a Greg song, same stylistically, but might be wrong. About You, good title/hook. the vocalist does a good job for you here. overall very nice work by you and the band.
