You Never Know

You Never Know
c T. C. Ballister

How has this world come to pass?
Ageless canyons carved out of the past.
And how long do you think they will last?
You Never Know.

And how has this all come to be?
These feelings between you and me.
And how long do you think they will last?
You Never Know.

And if there is a sure thing,
It must be the change that time brings,
But how I love this time with you.

And when did our lives become one?
Woven into a thread so finely spun.
And how could it ever come undone?
You Never Know.

(Instrumental Bridge)

Now how many bridges will we cross?
How ever could our future be lost?
Well I kiss you every morning just because,
You Never Know.

No, You'll Never Know.

"You Never Know" is a beautiful song that has a unique, simple sound and feel to it reminiscent of 1960's or early 1970's Folk music. The craftsmanship of this song is nearly perfect in every way, with it's purity of heart and simple, yet effective lyrics and vocals, it makes it very enjoyable to listen to. Overall, an excellent song with really good synch-appeal for period-piece films, documentaries, and television shows.

"Your lovely vocal coupled with the delicate finger-picking and string arrangement present a winning combination".
