Story Behind the Song

Memories of a lost love

Broadjam Member Reviews

I'm seeing the sun shining and in a swimsuit. Takes me back to summers listening to Steve Miller. Nice guitar work, with a nice, comforting rock sound. I appreciate the cleanliness of the arrangement, not trying to overdo things. You have a definite sound and style, which I appreciate it. I also appreciate working to extend the vocal range like you are. A nice tenor voice!

Lyrics

I THINK IT'S TIME

Take a look outside, it's raining
Take a look inside my heart it's pouring down
Since you're not around anymore, oh no

And I miss you so,
That I want you to know
I think it's time we got together

Once upon a time I held you
Turn around again our love has disappeared
Now I live in fear as my loneliness closes in

And I miss you so,
That I want you to know
I think it's time we got together

Because it's been a long time
Been a long long time girl
Yes it's been a long time
Been a too long time girl
That's why I think it's time we got together

(INSTRUMENTAL)

Somewhere in my dreams I saw you
All in blue, tiara woven into your hair
You saw me there and you smiled and said hello

And I felt right then like I was king of all men
Oh you make me feel the way I need to feel
So I think it's time we got together
Oh yeah you make me feel the way I need to feel
So I think it's time .....
