Frankie Was An Artist won the 2015 studio section. Woman and Man won in 2014 I was nominated best songwriter International Music Aid 2009. We All Come Home has been No#1 in the Broadjam contemporary folk charts and still consistently charts. When The Insides out reached No#2 in the Unique genre chart. Other songs that have been finalists in world wide song contests include YOUR DREAM, SYDNEY MORNING, WOMAN AND MAN,YOU WILL LET ME GO and AFFAIR BY THE LAKE.

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY & CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Chris Orchard is very recognisable due to his extensive work in many television series. Apart from his acting career Chris works regularly as both a solo musician and with his friend and producer Shane O Farrell. He has a CD available of his own songs and several songs are on Cd's from 'SCALA'. He was nominated as best songwriter at the 2009 Music Aid International Song Contest and best performance. His songs regularly appear in the last rounds of various local and international song contests.Chris studied at the acclaimed National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney.
He accumulated extensive credits in Theatre and was a resident artist at The Melbourne Theatre Company. He has appeared as a lead actor in the television series The Young Doctors which has been screened in numerous countries and was targeted by Crawford Productions for leads in several series including the 1920's period drama Carson's Law in which he played the wayward son Tommy Carson with great distinction. Subsequently Chris was offered the lead role in the show 'Prime Time'. He returned to Sydney and was a regular on the television series'E Street' before moving into the distribution side of the business with Universal and Paramount and Polygram. Chris has starred many major television series and has over 500 hours of television screen time in the can.
