bio the way...
I've been doing this 4 a long time now, although I took some time off to take care of my wife b4 she died, now I'm back to it.
I've played drums since I was 9, then turned into a brass player at 11(trombone) and did very well. Well enough to be offered a chance @ a Julliard scholarship. Instead, I found myself finishing school @ A.C.S., Athens- Greece, where I was honored with the oppurtunity of conducting the International Youth Philharmonic Orchestra at a ripe old age of 19 years old.
However, I'm a hardcore rocker at heart and that brought me back stateside where I have toured nationally and recorded from coast to coast, playing with the likes of Scott Travis(helped get him the "Priest" gig-did he ever say 'thanks'?),Rob Halford,
Paul Gilbert, and bands from Ragdoll to Surgical Steel to "the Fux" and ,yes,.."D-DAY".
Most of the time you will find my crazy ass fronting an act, however I do play a few instruments proficiently, and teach them as well like Guitar. I also teach the occasional percussion student.
I've even started Goliath Records as sort-of my own "Swansong".
Now let me add,..that,...I live to perform live!!
Music is the one true form of magic there is,..seriously.
When you can take 10,000 people and control all of thier emotions at the same time!?!.....what would you call it, mass suggestive hysteria?,..maybe. I do know that I've made people all feel happy, sad, rowdy, angry, and yes, even love and loved.
That's freakin' magic.........and that's my music.
