I have loved music all my life. I stayed in from recess in kindergarten and messed with the piano and the teacher saw my interest and taught me to play "By The Waters Of Minnetonka" an old Indian love song. After recess I played it for the class to the astonishment of my teacher. I began organ lessons at age 9 and had a wonderful teacher who would play for me, then I would play exactly what he had played. I played the organ in night clubs at age 13 and began writing my own songs at 16. Besides keyboards I also play the 5 string banjo as well as guitar and had the honor of opening for John Hartford at a local venue with the band I was in at the time. I also played on a local National Public Radio station for a few years. I now am interested in making music for films and TV. Please feel free to contact me at spadon@centurylink.net.com

Spandon,

I just dropped by to listen to my fellow Iowa artists. I am in awe of your sense of composition using so many different flavors to make such a nice treat to listen to. I must try doing something like this sometime. Best to you, Alan

THANKS SPADON, for your kind and encouraging review of my tune, Spanish Love Theme'. A classical guitar piece, written and recorded for the movie, 'BOHEMIA'. I'm glad you enjoyed and very nice to meet you here on Broadjam. Thanks again, Alex Legg

Hi Spadon,
Thank you for your review of "They Say". You are right. It would work great without the drum section. I listened to your compositions and realize the potential. With your command of instruments and recording skills may I suggest that you try strong melody lines with less effects to achieve even more powerful sound structures?
All the best, Klaus
