Just knew you because of the slow motion images music of World Cup 2014. You're an ARTIST, because your musics toutch us inside, they're deep and peacefull.
Thank you for your kind words! I hope you will continue to enjoy my music for many years to come!
Thanks for your review of Air (Floating Dream). Not quite sure what you're referring with regard to "clicking and popping" just re-listened to the track again and it's a very clean recording. There are are some glitchy elements in it. Maybe that's what you're referring to? Maybe the track didn't stream right for you? I don't know but I didn't hear what you're talking about. Thanks again, Chip
The sounds to which I am referring begin right before the strings at 0:19 and dissipate at the groove change at 1:52. They pan C/L and they appear at regular 2.5 and 8.5 second intervals after the "banded" synth sound that first appears at 0:16.5.
I realize that I might sound like a jerk in offering this specific information. It is not my intent to be critical beyond offering insight into what I am hearing. If your source is clean and what I am hearing is on my end, please kindly disregard.
My impression upon re-listening to "Air (floating dream)" and sampling some of your other work (which is clean on this end and quite enjoyable) is that what I am hearing is an echo artifact from the above referenced synth. If these artifacts are parts of the "glitchy element" to which you are referring, then I must stand by my original opinion that they were distracting from an otherwise delightfully crafted mood piece.
You are clearly talented and I do enjoy your music. I wish you nothing but the best for your future endeavors.
Thank you for your incredibly insightful comments. I sincerely LOVE concise, intelligent remarks and "criticism". You sound like anything BUT a jerk. This is the kind of constructive criticism that is useful to me in improving my craft.
Upon listening again, (after your reading your comments) I hear exactly what you're talking about. I believe that may have "messed with" REX loop; can't remember exactly. But I could totally hear (because I was specifically listening for it) that if you latched on to that when it came in, it WAS distracting and DID pull you out of the piece. Thanks for noticing AND for having the ability to convey that in a most helpful and intelligent manner.
My pleasure. I hope that you may have the opportunity to do the same for me sometime in the future.
