Sounds Like: Vince Gill, Keith Urban

BIO

I was once called "The delta's rockin' country boy" by one of my roadie buddies at The
Osceola Arkansas Heritage Music Festival which I performed at for many years and it sort of stuck on me for a long time.

Opening for national recording artist such as Night Ranger, Anthony Gomes, Buddy Jewel, TG Sheppard, Tracy Lawrence and
Doctor Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster have been just a few of my high points throughout my 40 years of performing.
I moved to Gulf Shores in June 2014 and started my new musical journey here. GooRoo's American/Seafood Restaurant in Gulf Shores, AL. gave me my first gig and it was a huge success!
Being a singer/songwriter as well as a solo entertainer has opened a few doors. I am very excited about being involved in the Gulf Coast songwriting community that will showcase my writing and performing talents for the new fans and friends I have made on the Gulf Coast. Me and my wife Dana plan on living out the rest of our years here in Alabama and we aren't going no where. We love this place, the folks, the music scene and all of the cool festivals and events it has to offer, not only in and around Gulf Shores, AL. but the Perdido Key and Pensacola areas as well.

Steadily gaining shows and fans is very exciting to me now that I am a solo entertainer. Retired from floorcovering installations in December of 2013 gave me the opportunity to become fulltime at my music.
I have spent the last 15 years playing in bands as the front man and guitarist for many groups around Memphis, TN. All over N.E. Arkansas and around Olive Branch and Southaven Mississippi. Back in the 70's & 80's I played in Texas, Oklahoma and parts of Missouri. Sure feels great to do my brand of music and show these days but I would not take away any of my past because it is a big part of who I am and it helped to mold me into the musician I am today.

Musical and vocal influences range from John Fogerty, Paul Rodgers, Vince Gill, Randy Owen, Ry Cooder, Keith Urban any many more.
A Epiphone EJ200 acoustic/electric guitar is my instrument of choice and the faithful Shure SM58 vocal microphone" for vocals. I carry a small Pa System setup for my personal shows that is just the right size for most venues, indoors or outdoors.

People ask me if I am related to the King of Rockin' Roll "Elvis". Well, I am but it's very far down the line related, 7th cousin in our family tree. But I am very proud to carry the name and I love knowing I am the only musician out of 7 kids in my family. Must have had that part handed down to me somehow...LOL.
At the tender age of sixteen i started my musical journey into the nightlife's music scene and that's how this all began. There is definitely much more to tell but I'd rather you check out my music, photos and show schedule.
