Welcome to my page! I’m a songwriter who’s been writing since age 11, with many early songs coming to life in my grandfather’s studio. This year, my songs have reached Broadjam and SoundClick Top 10 charts, earned Songwriter Universe and Broadjam contest wins, multiple Top 5 placements, and a sync library selection. My favorite thing about music is connection: to places that have changed, moments that have passed, people I miss, and a community that shares a love of guitars and stories.
Music Shenanigans
I'll be working with a vintage audio tech and a studio integration specialist to get some vintage studio equipment set up and bring a piece of family history back to life. Then I get to set up play dates with my producer friend so we can play with old tape reels.

Music is about connection for me: to places that have changed, moments that have passed, people I miss, and a community that loves guitars and stories.
Music Runs in the Family
I was born into music, growing up playing with toys at the feet of musicians during family jam sessions filled with live music and laughter. My grandparents were professionals, my mom and brother played guitar, and my dad introduced me to classic rock -- the same vinyl records I still fall asleep to today. I have some aunts and uncles that are my biggest fans, and that's the best feeling.
Over the years, our family has changed. Though some are gone and others can no longer play, those rich childhood roots live on in the songs I write - through memories and ingredients. I visit them through lyrics.
I got my first guitar at eight. My mom taught me the chords to my first song "Teddy Bear" by Barbara Fairchild. I switched to piano at eleven. My grandma showed me chords after watching me try to play my songs by ear. And eventually I found my way back to guitar. Now, I jam three times a week with fellow guitar lovers, playing classics by Bob Seger, The Beatles, and more. My daughter played harp in the school orchestra and now dabbles with the guitar, too.
I grew up recording on analog equipment, resisted the early transition to digital (that artificial twang was like expecting Coke and getting Diet Coke!), and now enjoy exploring today's technology. I really love it tbh. Though, I still take issue with 'bootleg' twang. But I'm a DAWtor with that. Haha! We all have our pet peeves.
