Kevin Paul was born and raised in the city of Chicago, he left home as a teenager to pursue his love of music. The Chitlin' Circuit in the 70's was a virtual training ground for him where he developed a knack for playing inside the polyrhythms that were the basis for many grooves found in popular Funk music of the era.
In addition to releasing a number of original tracks in various genres including guitar instrumentals, kp performs with the dynamic show band Generation playing at premier venues and festivals around the Midwest.
kp continues to compose and produce his own compositions, he is also a regular on the House Of Blues Chicago Back Porch Stage.

Calibre was released December 2021, the second in The EP series with the 3rd scheduled for Spring 2022.

Today I perform with the dynamic show band Generation playing at premier venues and festivals around the Midwest as well as a house gig at the House of Blues Chicago with the Windy City Rev Ups.
In 2021 I released 6 String Electric Soul, the first EP in a series of which all are comprised of 6 tracks of original music. It is available on all streaming platforms and I have just released the 2nd EP, Calibre which features "Think I'm Gonna' Love You.
