5AM is my sickly, beautiful muse-child, reared in the flickering cathode luminescence of 80s sci-fi. Her voice rings in my mind, the distant keening of my sedative-dulled conscience. The digital abstracts take shape and the twilight of my soul sounds forth.

Perhaps one day I will trust someone else with her songs. Collaborations have allowed a glimpse of her shadowy fragility but, for now, we are alone.

The music is darkly Aeolian, piano-led electronica wrapped in swathes of IDM-lite machine noise and 8-bit test tones.

Recent collaborations include a remix of Crushed featured on Collide`s 2004 album, Vortex, scores to Robert Hamilton`s short films, Ex Machina and Int. Apartment Night as well as the 2003 debut album, The Guilt Room.
