Story Behind The Song
This is the third recording of this tune. The first demo was a crappy thing I did in Nuendo and the second one is a sparser mix; the reverb unit wasn't working! Maybe I'll upload them
Song Description
This is my favourite song though it's a few years old now. I wrote it after a relationship breakdown that forced me to reassess how I saw myself. This song is a meditation on my own self-awareness.

Lyrics
Maybe it's okay in your eyes,
The world is still alive,
Awake like when I saw the day,
And night was a stranger...
And I don't see anymore,
What anything is for.
Fourteen years of loving only you,
Knowing nothing new,
Fourteen years of looking at the sun,
Looking back I wonder what went wrong...
Dressing in the dark, loneliness,
Deserving of daytime,
In the night, still love you,
But I am a stranger
...
Looking back, I wonder what went wrong,
Looking back, I wonder what went on...
