Wonderful Johnson is the newest project from noted rock bassist Tim McGeary. It is a collection of songs written and performed by Tim McGeary. The music is full of harmony with solid hooks and an edgy Triple A feel. Tim McGeary is a singer/songwriter from Naples, Florida. He has been writing songs for as long as he can remember. When he was 5 years old at his piano lesson he would play the lesson, then something he would write himself. He was signed in 1984 to A&M records with the group "The Rescue". The Rescue recorded their album in London at Sarm East Studios where it was produced by Tony Mansfield (Captain Sensible, Naked Eyes). Tim McGeary was one of two lead singers and the bass player. The record went to Billboard's recommended list and the band toured for two years extensively with Billy Idol, Simple Minds, Stray Cats, Thompson Twins, The Cure, Depesche Mode, Patty Smythe and Scandal, Missing Persons, and Duran Duran.
