Voide

Voide Bio

Voide (Dave Almgren) is a composer and producer of electronic music with experience since the late 80s.

Born in the Stockholm area of Sweden, Dave's artistic interests started around 1984 when he in his teens purchased his first synthesizer.

In 2006 Dave wanted to continue with his musical career, after having played in several band and projects during the 90s and 00s, he founded Voide.

With Voide he started to produce songs with his own and unique electronic music style, influenced by the electronic music pioneers. In time for the first Voide album release Dave engaged with Peter In de Betou at Tailor Maid studios in Stockholm and Peter has mastered all Voide tracks and albums since then.

In 2007 Dave met Suzie Electric at MySpace finding they shared many musical references and started working together. Late December 2008 they released the single titled 'Love'.

By chance in 2008 Dave listened to the Electronicast podast produced by Snowy in the U.K and he learned about Pixeguts (M. Craven) that just had started a global independent electronic music community and decided to join. Since 2009 Pixieguts and Voide have produced an electronic podcast show titled Pixicast with music from this community. Pixieguts is also featured on four of the newest tracks by Voide.

In 2009 ULDA (the band was originally formed in 1991 together with U. Johansson) was reformed and the new name is Little Red Cottage (LRC) and one single has been released in 2009 titled 'I Go Easy' featuring Australian vocalist Pixieguts.

Dave is actively producing and composing music as a member of both Little Red Cottage and Voide working in his home studio in the northern area of Stockholm.
