Hello everyone and welcome to my website. My name is David English (band member/founder of Vision) and if you love quality Hard Rock you've come to the right place. My musical influences are Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, U2, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Dream Theater and more recently Zakk Wylde and Disciple. Vision is an amalgamation of all these artists with a completely original sound. If you like any of these artists, you'll enjoy the music of Vision.

Record Label Conference in July

March 20, 2006. The music industry contacted me today and told me the Record Label Conference will be on July 1 & 2 in Chicago. It will now be a televised event with MTV and BET filming all of the potential artists who are competing to get signed with over 40 Record Labels on hand deciding which artist to take under their wing. Until then, I am going to start gigging around town to create a buzz in the city and to get ready to show the record executives what the music of Vision is all about.

Getting signed?

Febuary 21, 2006. I just had a preliminary audition with a bunch of major recording labels last week and I passed the audition. Universal, Capitol, BMG, Sony and others are sweeping through 11 mid-west cities in search of potential artists. The panel of judges really liked the music! The next and most important audtion is on March 25 where I will rock it out on the acoustic guitar and sing. If they like what they hear, I may very well walk away with a recording contract. It's time to begin another rock 'n roll revolution where bands go back to their roots and still maintain a unique and modern sound. That's why I am excited to hear David Gilmour and Guns 'N Roses are coming back. Until next time, Rock on and make your dreams a reality.
